We keep a library of board games at Boundary Brewery, free for anyone to play during opening hours — no membership required. Just ask at the bar.

The collection covers everything from quick card games to longer strategy titles, so there’s something whether you have 20 minutes or a whole evening.


Gateway Games

Great if you’re new to board gaming or want something easy to pick up.

Ticket to Ride — Build railway routes across a map by collecting and playing sets of cards. Simple to learn, satisfying to play. 2–5 players, ~60 mins.

Catan — Settle an island by gathering and trading resources to build roads, settlements, and cities. A modern classic. 3–4 players, ~90 mins.

Carcassonne — Lay tiles to build a medieval landscape of cities, roads, and farms, then claim them with your followers. 2–5 players, ~45 mins.

Pandemic — Work together to stop four deadly diseases from spreading across the globe. One of the best co-operative games around. 2–4 players, ~60 mins.


Card Games

Faster games, ideal for a quick round while you wait for more people to arrive.

Codenames — Two teams compete to identify their secret agents using one-word clues. Excellent for larger groups. 4–8 players, ~30 mins.

Love Letter — A tiny deck with a surprising amount of tension. Try to have the highest card when the round ends. 2–6 players, ~20 mins.

Coup — Bluff your way to victory by claiming (or faking) powerful roles. Ruthless and quick. 2–6 players, ~15 mins.

Sushi Go! — Draft cards to build the best combination of sushi dishes. Light, colourful, and fast. 2–5 players, ~20 mins.


Strategy Games

For when you want something with more depth.

7 Wonders — Lead an ancient civilisation through three ages by developing your city and wonder. Plays quickly for a strategy game. 2–7 players, ~45 mins.

Agricola — Manage a farm, feed your family, and try not to fall behind. A beloved worker placement game. 1–5 players, ~90 mins.

Terraforming Mars — Compete with other corporations to make Mars habitable through careful card play and resource management. 1–5 players, ~2–3 hrs.

Wingspan — Attract birds to your wildlife preserve by building an engine of powerful combinations. Beautiful and approachable. 1–5 players, ~60–90 mins.


Party Games

Louder, sillier, and best with a crowd.

Dixit — Describe a dreamlike card with a word or phrase, then guess which cards others chose. Works with almost any group. 3–6 players, ~30 mins.

Telestrations — A drawing and guessing game that goes hilariously wrong by the time it gets back to you. 4–8 players, ~30 mins.
